At Talk The Gospel our intention is to provide a place for sound teaching and Biblical instruction for women. We hope that you will learn to interpret scripture within its context, receive biblical knowledge, and begin to see life in light of the gospel. We encourage our readers to apply this knowledge to real life problems, and ultimately we seek to glorify God as the calling of our lives.
Core Beliefs
- Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross yet perfect and without flaw in order to cure the sin brought into the world by one man, Adam. Jesus was buried, rose from the dead, and will return again to receive the church as His own.
- We are saved by Grace through Faith in the work of Jesus Christ.
- The Word of God is written by men but fully inspired by God and all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding comes through His word.
- We do nothing to earn our salvation. It is a gift from God to us.
- By surrendering to the work of Jesus Christ and leaving dependency on our pride and good works we will enjoy fellowship with Christ forever. This fellowship provides a more abundant life than we have ever known or can fathom.
- God’s way leads to a fulfilling life on Earth and for Eternity. No motivation, achievement, circumstance, fame, nor riches, can provide the joy, peace, and light Christ provides through His Spirit after our surrender to His work.
Team
Furthermore, Talk The Gospel is a blog that seeks to help women grow deeply in their walk with The Lord. Our team is comprised of women who have been growing in The Lord for many years and have studied His Word in depth. Every member of our team is either a full-time stay at home mom, business owner, and/or in part-time work. In our life vocations, we strive hard to live the example of Christ to a broken world. We take each season of life, no matter how busy, to lead other women to a devotion to Christ.
We believe that there is so much richness in life when we gather as women to ponder on the greatness and Glory of God. This conversation and fellowship grows us in humility as we learn how great He is and how small we are in comparison. This, ladies, is the loveliest state of life.
